Pumpkin 'Butternut' (Cucurbita moschata) is a popular heirloom variety producing smooth, tan-skinned fruits with sweet, rich orange flesh and a small seed cavity.

Vigorous vines yield abundant crops that are ideal for roasting, soups, baking and a wide range of home-cooked dishes. Easy to grow in a sunny position with well-drained soil, butternut pumpkins also store well after harvest for extended enjoyment.
