Sweetheart Lilac (Syringa vulgaris)

Sweetheart Lilac is a deciduous shrub admired for its fragrant, cone-shaped clusters of soft pink to lilac blooms that appear in spring. The flowers are richly scented, making it a favourite for cottage-style gardens and cut flower arrangements.

Growing to approximately 2–3 metres tall, it forms a dense, upright shrub with heart-shaped green foliage. Hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, bringing colour and perfume to the garden each year.
