Naranjilla / Golden Fruit of the Andes

Naranjilla (Solanum quitoense), also known as the "little orange" or "Golden Fruit Of The Andes", is a rare tropical fruit plant native to the Andes. It produces small, spherical fruits covered in a spiky, green husk, which turn orange when ripe. The fruit has a tangy, citrus-like flavour, often described as a blend of pineapple and lime.
