Macarthur Palm, Ptychosperma macarthurii, is a graceful clumping palm sometimes also referred to as Grey Palm, with slender stems, soft arching fronds and a lush tropical look. Growing to around 3–6m high and 2–3m wide, it is ideal for screening, poolside planting, tropical gardens, large pots or bright protected courtyards. Best grown in full sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soil, it performs well in warm climates and brings elegant year-round greenery to the garden.
