Langsat (Lansium domesticum Corrêa)

Lansium domesticum Corrêa, most commonly known as Langsat or Lanzones, is a tropical fruit tree from the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The tree produces clusters of sweet, translucent fruits with a delicate tang, perfect for fresh eating or desserts. It thrives in warm, humid climates with full sun, well-drained soil, regular watering, and light fertilization, with minimal pruning to maintain shape and encourage fruiting. In suburban gardens, it grows 4–8 m tall and 3–5 m wide, and can be pruned to keep smaller if desired.
