Lamb’s Ears (Stachys byzantina) is a hardy perennial groundcover loved for its soft, velvety silver-grey foliage.
Growing to around 20–40cm tall, with taller flower spikes in season, it is ideal for edging, cottage gardens, sensory gardens, rockeries, low borders and softening garden beds. Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil, and avoid overly wet conditions to keep the foliage looking its best.
