Coast Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens)

Coast Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) is an iconic evergreen conifer famous for being the tallest tree species on Earth growing up to 110m and taking 400 years to reach maturity. It has soft, needle-like foliage, a straight trunk with reddish bark, and can live for hundreds to thousands of years. Best suited to cool, moist climates, it makes a striking long-term feature tree in large landscapes.
